September Update!

Thursday Night Fellowship has had some changes this semester! Since the start of the year, we've struggled to find a room on campus that can hold us comfortably and consistently. (Although, there have been some really cool God-deals as we've navigated the system and had a lot of help from people on campus.) We love having everyone get together!

But, for the last couple of years we've contemplated when it makes sense to split UNT and TWU for at least some of our normal events - like TNF. This seems to be the year to at least experiment with the idea before it becomes absolutely necessary. So this last week we tried out TWU Chapel Night!

As a huge bummer, I wasn't able to be there - a spike in blood pressure meant I needed to rest but I'm good now! The chapel night was a hit and seemed to make room for more people to attend without making the trek to UNT. One of our values is that we are accessible and, ideally, planted where the students are. It's so cool that we get a chance to build more of a personal presence at TWU! I'm excited to see what the students do with this opportunity. We won't do this every week but we hope that this will spur TWU on furthur towards a healthy, robust, thriving community.

Pregnancy Update:
I'm in the last few days of this pregnancy! I am honestly sad to miss so many of the fun fall ministry things but I'm obviously very ready to meet baby Calvin. I hope to send y'all a quick update with pictures soon!

Please be praying for TWU as we try out some new things! And I'd also love your prayers for this birth and transition to a family of four.

Love y'all!
