Meet My Peer Team!

I now exclusively take pictures when Owen is around so I thought this would be a good way for me to introduce y'all to my peer team this year! These are the four girls that I get time with every week who lead cores (our small groups) at TWU. I've been slowly able to meet up with more people but seeing these girls every week from the first week of school has already been such a blessing. They each commit so much time to invest in the students in their cores and our community as a whole, I just want to honor each of them for carving out time to serve God in the midst of everything else competing for their attention. 

This is Hannah! You might recognize her, this is my third year getting to have her in my peer team. She has become such a good friend to me and I'm so grateful we've been able to walk through life together - and obsess over plants. This is her super senior year and she's working towards a physical therapy degree.

This is Emily! Y'all also might recognize her, she was in core with Hannah and me last year and we studied the Bible together. She is a student at TCC but lives in Denton so she helps us out with TWU. This girl has a heart for the Lord and especially for missions. Talk to her for 5 minutes and she'll probably start gushing about her trips to Guatemala and the people she met there!

This is Victoria! Such a calm presence, she is a friend to everyone she meets. She's a dance major with a lot on her plate but again, she makes time to invest in the people around her. 

This is Lyss! I got to know her some as a freshman last year but this is her first year as a corefa. She is a music therapy major at TWU. Already I've really enjoyed meeting with her, she is kind and thoughtful and energetic! 

Their faithfulness and deep desire to love people is infectious!
