Core has been so encouraging so far! I'm so glad I get the chance to be a corefa again. So far we've gotten to talk about community and friendship and what it looks like to have Jesus as our foundation. We've got a pretty mixed group of girls too! Some have been around our community for a while, some are new and ready to jump in, and some are just now taking steps to know Jesus for themselves.
Please join me in praying for these women to start building friendships with each other and to pursue Jesus together!
Family Night
We had our first Family Night this past weekend! Students invited anyone they consider family to check out one of our Thursday Night Services and see what FOCUS is all about. It was such a fun time getting to meet parents, siblings, and friends. I really love that we get to honor the parents and family that has helped shape these students and gotten them to where they are. If you were there that night, thank you so much for joining us!
Ways to Pray
- Please also continue to be praying for my fundraising. I'm somewhere between 80 and 90% fundraised, which is such a blessing! But I'd like to get fully fundraised as soon as possible and would appreciate your prayers for that.- Join me in praying for the girls in core to build relationships with each other and with God.
- Pray for Crystal, Coral, and Jessica from my peer team. I love getting to meet with these sweet girls every week. Each of them have a heart for people and it's exciting to get to be a part of God's work in their lives. They all have been working so hard to overcome anxious thought patterns and submitting them to the Lord so please join me in pray for that process.
- Pray for Fall Camp coming up next weekend! This is such a powerful time for our community to be solidified together and for the Lord the work among us.

Reagann, it was so wonderful seeing you this past weekend at Family Night, and to witness all that FOCUS does on campus for the students and community. And thank you also for all you have done to help Coral grow as a daughter of our amazing God who brought her to UNT two years ago. His plan for her is constantly unfolding and FOCUS has been such a huge part of that plan! May God continue to bless you as you minister to so many people through FOCUS!!
